The largest solar power plant project in Vietnam in Ninh Thuan
On 8/6, in Ninh Thuan will take place the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Solar Power Plant Project – scale of 168MW, jointly operated by CMX Re SunSeap Vietnam Solar Power Joint Stock Company with Thang Uy Group. . This is the largest Solar Project in the country at the moment.
The solar power plant valued at more than US $ 150 million has received the Land Handover Decision and Investment Registration Certificate, including a written approval from the Prime Minister of Vietnam – this is necessary. set for all projects with capacity greater than 50MW.

The project can be put into operation in June 2019. Once completed, it will provide electricity to about 200,000 households and create stable jobs for more than 200 workers.
SunSeap Company is allowed to sell electricity from its solar power plant to Vietnam’s national grid according to the tariff approved by the Government of Vietnam of USD 0.935 / kW for the next 20 years provided that the Company must commercial electricity generation before June 30, 2019.

Mr. Luu Xuan Vinh, Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee, said: “The project with a capacity of 168MW is a solar energy project invested by SunSeap Company which is one of the largest solar projects in Ninh Thuan province is about to start. We are pleased to announce that the Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee has issued an investment registration certificate and a Land Handover Decision (Phase 1), handing over 130 hectares of land to the project developer. The remaining 56 ha is expected to be handed over in 5/2018 “.
